What is BizXplosion?

  • BizXplosion is a business referral network, that is changing the way business does business.

  • Every business small or large wants more customers, more profits and sustained growth. 

  • All too often companies lack a clear understanding of how to achieve those primary objectives, in fact most companies lack the simplest and basic knowledge about the power of networking. Now everything has changed. 

  • BizXplosion is the business referral network exploding the old ways of doing business and blowing apart out-moded ways of how to increase your business leads, sales and marketing programs. 

  • Our structured networking process combined with your expertise, commitment and passion can help achieve the business growth you so richly deserve.

How often does a BizXplosion Chapter meet and what is the length of each meeting?

  • BizXplosion chapters meet once each week, at breakfast or lunch, on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

  • Plan on a time commitment of no less than 60 minutes and up to 90 minutes for the formal meeting. This will vary depending on the amount of business you conduct after the formal meeting. Please plan your time accordingly.

How is my business promoted at each meeting?

  • This format has been created to focus and promote each business every week. This is accomplished through  five specific venues during the meeting.

What is the maximum number of members in a chapter?

  • 26  to 30, depending on the chapter's categories and makeup.

How many BizXplosion chapters can I join?

  • One.  

How many business categories can a BizXplosion member represent?

  • One. Each member may only represent the one business category approved on their membership contract.

What kind of businesses belong to BizXplosion?

How do I know if my business is a good fit for BizXplosion?

    BizXplosion members come from all types and sizes of business. Here is a partial list of questions that must be answered to know if your business is a good fit:

  • Is this your primary business? 

  • Do you work this business full time?

  • Do you service clients during normal business hours?

  • Does your business require licensing or certification?

If a business category is open in my chapter, can I represent that category as part of my business?

  • No. Each member may only represent the one business category approved on their membership contract.

My business sells products and services that cover more than one category. Can I represent those products and services?

  • No. Each member may only represent the one business category approved on their membership contract.

What happens when I stop doing the business listed on my membership contract?

  • If you chose to no longer represent the  business associated with the category listed on your membership contract,  you must drop.

Can I change my Business Category?

  • No. If you chose to no longer represent the  business associated with the category listed on your membership contract,  you must drop.

How long will it take to get make my first connection?

  • This is a difficult question to answer, because there are many variables. What kind of business do you have? How broad is the appeal of your category? Are you selling a product or service that people need or want every day, week, or month, once a year or once every 2 to 10 years? 

  • Making connections with and for your fellow chapter members is an integral part of the referral process.  Passing connections demonstrates your commitment to the process and enhances your opportunity to make money. Like any advertising media we suggest you give BizXplosion six months to a year to impact your business. 

How much does it cost to join and belong to BizXplosion?

  • There is a $99 Join fee and a $40 per month membership fee. You can reduce the total cost of your membership by paying fees quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

Are there any other expenses?

  • Yes. The room fee covers the cost of your meeting place each week and normally includes breakfast or lunch. Room fees range from $5 to $15 each week. 

How do I pay my fees?  

  • Fees may be paid to the Controller or online, on or before the first meeting of each month.

My company's accounting department will pay my fees if I can get an invoice. Can I get an invoice?

  • Yes

  • Please remember, members joining a chapter must pay on the day they join. 

  • If you cannot walk in to the first meeting with a check in hand from your company's accounting department, then you need to pay the join fee and the first month fee and get the company to reimburse you. 

  • At your request we will issue you an invoice for fee payments of 3, 6 or 12 months  and an invoice will be sent to you up to 30 days before your fees come due.

  • We cannot provide invoices for Monthly Fee payments.

If my company pays my fees, does my company own my membership?

  • No.  BizXplosion membership is issued to an individual not a company. The company does not own your membership. 

I have questions about my fees who do I talk to?

  • First speak with your chapter's Controller.

  • All fees are processed by BizXplosion. If you have any questions about your fees or need assistance, contact BizXplosion via phone 303.485.8088 or

If I leave or am dropped from BizXplosion will my unused or prepaid fees be refunded?

  • No. 

  • All fees are non-refundable; according to the terms of your membership contract.

What is the room fee?

  • The room fee covers the cost of your meeting place each week. The room fee normally includes breakfast or lunch.

  • The primary purpose of the room fee is to compensate the owner of the meeting place for the use of their facilities. 

I don't eat Breakfast/Lunch, do I still have to pay the room fee?

  • Yes. You must pay the set or minimum fee for the meeting place even if you choose not to eat. 

  • The primary purpose of the room fee is to compensate the owner of the meeting place for the use of their facilities. 

Can you tell me all of the BizXplosion Fee's?

  • Join Fee $99

  • Monthly Fees paid Monthly $40

  • Monthly Fees paid Quarterly $105 (= $35 per month)

  • Monthly Fees paid Semi Annually  $200 (= $33 per month)

  • Monthly Fees paid Annually $400 (= $33 per month)

  • Late Fee $10 on fee's paid after the first meeting of each month.

  • Networking Fee $10 paid by a visitor  

  • Bad Check Fee up to $40 (covers charges to BizXplosion by banks and merchant services for your bad check) Read the Colorado Bad Check Law.

Where do my fees go?

  • Your fee's provide you with exclusive category representation within your chapter and support your chapter. BizXplosion provides the process, tools, resources, administrative and support services required to help you and your chapter members, generate quality referrals and business connections for each other. Your fees pay for the supplies you use each week in your meeting, training and communicating with the membership and Leadership Team as well as the consultants and staff that support and grow your chapter and BizXplosion. 

Can I be dropped from BizXplosion?

  • Yes, you will forfeit your membership to BizXplosion: 

  • For failure to pay your fees at the first meeting of the month or fees and late charge by the last meeting of the month.

  • For failure to adhere to the terms of the membership contract .

  • For exceeding 12 absences in your 12-month anniversary period or 3 consecutive absences without contacting the chapter or responding to the chapters attempt to contact you.

  • For writing bad checks to BizXplosion or the meeting place and failing pay those checks and fees when notified.

  • For representing or promoting anything other than the one business category listed on your membership contract.

  • For unethical business practices.

  • For activities that adversely affect chapter dynamics and synergy

If I leave BizXplosion can I join again? 

  • Members leaving a BizXplosion chapter will be required to wait up to 12 months before being considered for membership in the same or another BizXplosion Chapter. 

  • To be considered for membership in the same or another BizXplosion Chapter, you must contact the Regional Director.

  • You will be required to pay the $99 Join fee plus monthly fees. 

What happens if I write a bad check?

  • If you write a bad check, you will be charged up to $40 plus the amount of the original check. 

  • If you write a bad check BizXplosion will no longer accept your business or personal check. You will be required to pay your fees via a credit card, money order or cashiers check.   

  • If you fail to make good on a bad check within 15 days of notification you will be dropped from BizXplosion and your check will be turned over to collections.

  • Bad Check Fee up to $40 (covers charges to BizXplosion by banks and merchant services for your bad check) Read the Colorado Bad Check Law.

Why do I have to pay a $10.00 Late Fee, if I pay my fees after the first meeting of the month? 

  • This BizXplosion staff is geared up to process fee payments during the first 7 business days of each month. The $10.00 late fee covers the cost of  the exception processing required to process and input your fee payment after the 7th business day of the month.  

If I leave BizXplosion can my membership or prepaid fees be transferred to someone else?

  • No. BizXplosion membership is for individuals and may not be sold or transferred to another individual.  

What is the Leadership Team?

  • The Leadership team consists of four chapter members selected for a six month term to host the chapter meeting.

Are Leadership Team members paid? 

  • No. The Leadership Team position is voluntary.

As a BizXplosion Member, can I visit another BizXplosion Chapter?

  • No.

What is the difference between a Visitor and a Guest?

  • A Visitor may be eligible to join your chapter a guest cannot.

  • A Visitor represents a business category that is not currently represented in your chapter. A visitor comes in to observe and participate in the meeting in hopes of joining your chapter.

  • A guest cannot join your chapter.  A guest may be a friend or someone from your business who wants to see what you do at your BizXplosion meeting, but cannot join your chapter. 

Can I bring a visitor to my chapter?

  • Yes. Introducing a visitor to BizXplosion is the best way to grow your chapter. Confirm with your Leadership Team that your visitors is from businesses not currently represented in your chapter. There is a $10.00 networking fee, plus the room fee for your visitor. 

How many times can the visitor visit?

  • A visitor may visit your BizXplosion chapter twice. The $10.00 networking fee plus the room fee must be paid on each visit.

Why is there a fee to visit an active BizXplosion Chapter?

  • There is value in visiting your chapter. Your chapter is a group of organized business professionals who meet each week to conduct business, make connections, educate us about your business and thank each other for successful connections.  As  a member you pay each week to participate in this process. The $10 visitor fee shows interest and commitment on the part of the visitor.

Can I bring my child/children to the meeting?

  • No. This is a business meeting, no children are allowed.

What is the maximum number of absences allowed during any 12 month period? 

  • 12 absences in your 12-month anniversary period
    or

  • 3 consecutive absences without contacting the chapter or responding to the chapters attempt to contact you.

Can I get an excused absence?

  • Each member is permitted 12 absences in their 12-month anniversary period. These are your excused absences.

What about snow days?

  • The Leadership team is trained to determine if a chapter will meet during bad weather.

  • When a chapter is unable to meet as a result of bad weather, no member will be counted absent.

  • The Leadership team will determine if the chapter will meet during bad weather and members will be contacted via the chapters chosen process or method. 

  • In the case of bad weather, you should always use your best judgment in determining whether to hold or attend your BizXplosion meeting.

What is an agent?  Will sending an agent avoid an absence?

  • An agent is a representative of a member who is unable to attend. Sending an agent ensures that you are represented at the meeting, through participation  and  passing and receiving your connections.

  • Yes, sending an agent is not recorded as an absence for the member. Attendance by your agent will be recorded and tracked on the attendance chart.

What is a Leave of Absence?

  • Time off from your chapter approved and granted by the Regional Director.

  • A Leave of Absence must be approved and granted by the Regional Director.

  • BizXplosion members on an approved leave of absence must pay 3 months of fees ($105) at the start of the leave . Payment of fees during a leave of absence holds your position and category within the chapter. 

  • Failure to pay your fees during a Leave of Absence will result in your being dropped from your chapter for non-payment of fees.

What is a Transfer?

  • A Transfer is an approved move from one chapter to another.

  • A Transfer must be be approved and granted by the Regional Director. 

Can I link my business or website to the BizXplosion website?

  • Not at this time.

How do you pronounce Jan's last name?
